We accepted their bid and was scheduled for the next day, between 8 a.m. and noon. They arrived at 8:10 a.m. They started by putting a protective drop cloth on our stairs leading into the basement. They then proceeded to remove and replace the water heater. They finished up in about 2 1/2 hours total time. They cleaned up the work area, including vacuuming the stairs. They took the old water heater with them. Total price was $100 below their estimate. Very satisfied with their work. Very professional. No coarse language, unlike some other contractors we've used in the past. Would use them again.

I noticed the A/C was not working properly in my mom's house. So, I called and made an appointment for the next time I was available. Mike Burrows, one of the owners, came. He was quite late, but it was an unexpected problem, and they are typically very prompt. Fortunately, I had the time, so it worked out. But, for someone who was on a tight schedule, this could have been a real problem, though. Mike checked the central air compressor and noticed that the level of refrigerant was quite low. So he added the proper amount and checked the system for leaks. He also took the time to check the entire (furnace) system to make sure there was no problem with it. One unique thing that happened on this occasion was that Mike had his "tween" grandson with him and had him help with some aspects of the job. The effort did not take away from the task at hand, and I was pleased to see the boy learning some useful skills. The emphasis was on doing a GOOD job, and that was worth any miniscule extra time that the job might have taken.

Extremely pleased with this company. Prompt same day service. Adam had my AC running in 45 minutes. He checked my furnace, replaced the filter, set the timer on my thermostat. He was efficient and kind. The price was very fair. So happy I called Burrows after sweltering in the heat all day Sunday.

AC went out on Saturday. We called at 8 am Monday morning and they had a technician out and the problem resolved by 1 pm Monday.
